Just a few weeks ago, I started noticing the leaves changing colors, and let me tell you, it is absolutely beautiful! For those of you who don’t know, my favorite color is red, so you can imaging how excited I was to see the streets lined with red, red, and more red! I have always dreamed of photographing people in the fall leaves, so when Melanie agreed to be my guinea pig, I became so giddy!
Here are some are the photos…as you can tell, the light was perfect!

My beautiful model =)

…and of course, a shot of my hubby enjoying (?) the fall leaves!

What do you think?
I just want to wish all my blog readers a Happy New Year!
I would post my never-ending new year’s resolution, but I’m not that confident. I’ll let you know in exactly a year which ones I’ve met.

If only I could leave the Christmas tree up for the entire year. It saddens me to think that it is going to go down tomorrow. Not only is this tree the most awesome housewarming gift from my bestest friends, but it is our first tree. Last year, we didn’t have any space, so we created this make-shift tree using strings and a board.
Gorgeous!

Here are some photos of my favorite ornaments from last year.
1) Our first Christmas
2) Bling Bling glitter ornament

…and some additions this year
1) My friend made this for me…its made with my favorite color and covered with cherries! (my name means Cherry Blossom in Japanese)
2) Our First Christmas in Our New Home

Happy New Year!
One day, I would like to go to Africa…until then, the San Diego Wild Animal Park will do…TOTALLY do *especially when you have an annual pass*
Here’s a little overview of our visit
Once inside, Jimmy and I were greeted by this beautiful flower…
…and one legged flamingos (it’s an inside joke)
Oh, and here’s a photo of me trying to crush THE King
…these guys (I actually jumped when he growled…it was VERY intimidating. Definitely not a good idea to mess!)
We then decided to take a tour of Africa…the 20 minute version
Not bad, eh?
I *heart* giraffes…Jimmy thinks it’s because I envy them for their long necks…

Ok, so I thought about not posting the next photo, but what the heck, it’s pretty amusing. This actually went on for about 30 seconds…non-stop.

Here’s Jimmy playing around on the swinging bridge

…and chilling inside a tree trunk

Comparing tongues…blah

Happy Holidays!
sigh…how do you NOT enjoy photographing a handsome 4 month old and an absolutely adorable 6 month old? Despite the winter chill, these 2 babies did an AWESOME job. I know both moms are anxious to see the photos, so here they are…my favorites =)

I do believe that this one is my favorite.

I just can’t decide if I like the color or the black & white better.
