Time sure flies! It seems like it was just a little while ago when I photographed this little cutie. Back then, he was much smaller (duh) and was unable to lift his head up while being on his tummy. And now…he’s walking!! Not only that, he plays peek-a-boo, claps to songs, dances, and kicks a ball. I know, I know…you want to tell me that all babies grow up and hit their milestones, but it’s always amazing to see how much they learn within the first year.
And I’m sure time went by faster for the parents. Here are my favs from last weekend’s shoot with Little W.

I LOVE the next one. W’s daddy was behind me playing peek-a-boo with him!

Beautiful family!

One thing you need to know about photographing little ones is that you usually have a small window where you get them smiling and cooperating. Depending on the age, this could be as short as 5 minutes or as long as 15. Well, when I arrived to Aunt Patty’s house to photograph Little A and Little M, they were full of smiles. Little A was showing me his Sponge Bob books and Little M was flashing me her beautiful smile. They were both so giddy that for a split second, I was afraid that they were “using up” their smiles.
Well, it’s a good thing their parents knew how to bribe them! Even after several outfit changes, these two adorable siblings were occupied and energetic and I had a great time photographing them!

Sibling LOVE

I photographed these cuties yesterday, and I couldn’t wait to post and share them with you!
First up is Little S…she took awhile to warm up, but when she did, she showed me the cutest smiles!

Next up is Little B. You might recognize her from a shoot in May. Well, she still has the lovely rolls and adorable smile!

I love how you can’t see her feet.

I couldn’t resist the one on the left…I think it’s one of the cutest father-daughter photos I’ve ever taken!

…and the two of them together.

And last but not least, Teeny Tiny S, just 2 months old…

I had a little visitor the other day. He came over after his mommy and I had a nice lunch. He seemed to enjoy picking strawberries from our yard and running around with his finger in his cheek.
I can’t wait until I see my little guy run around in our yard!

Throughout the week, there are many times I stop and think, I am blessed. Blessed to have job, blessed to have a caring family, and blessed to have lots of amazing, loving friends. Last Sunday, my co-workers threw me a baby shower and I had so much fun! We played tons of fun games, and had the best food EVER. It was so nice to see everyone OUTSIDE of work and be able to laugh out loud without worrying about our time controlled by the school bell.
Jimmy came by at the very end to help load all the gifts into the car. When we unpacked at home, I looked at all that were given to us and thought, we are so blessed.
Thank you to all my co-workers. I had a great time!
