For me, maternity sessions are so special. I love the glow from the mom-to-be and love listening to the excitement for their future little one. This session was no different. The mom-to-be is absolutely stunning, and I’m looking forward to meeting Little Aaryn in February!
See…I told you she’s B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L!

Such a diva!

Little A is going to be SO stylish!

Here’s a sneak peek from last weekend’s maternity session. Check back soon for more!

Remember this beautiful couple?

Well, 9 days ago, mommy gave birth to a handsome little boy…

Welcome to the world, Baby N!
At the beginning of the year, like every year, I wrote my resolutions. To be exact, I wrote 10 things that I hoped to accomplish by the end of 2009. One of them was to read 5 books. I know I know…that’s less than one book every other month, but it seemed easily attainable at the time.
Well…with 2 weeks left before my deadline, I have read 2 books. One on my own and one with my students.

Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt has won many awards and I can see why. It was easy to follow, had an exciting climax, and an unexpected ending that made some of my student teary.
RULES is a book about a boy with Autism, written from his sister’s point of view. The book illustrates day-to-day struggles and joys of having someone with Autism in your life. I highly recommend this book!

I am currently reading Smiles To Go by Jerry Spenelli, one of my all time favorite authors. So far, so good!

2 down…3 more to go!!
This year, we had our decorations up BEFORE Thanksgiving. We’re hard core like that. Couldn’t wait.
We added some new things to our Christmas box this year…my favorite being the glass ball wreath I made from the scraps I gathered from the after Christmas sale last year. I also got adorable Mickey and Minnie figures from a Christmas store in Solvang.

We also decided to draw on our mirrors…

Here are some ornaments I’ve acquired through the year. We got Eric Cartman, Santa on an alligator, and the camera in New Orleans. I bought the Mickey ball with my birthday gift card to Disneyland.

As you can see, we are both excited for Christmas!
