I’m a day late, but here’s a “HAPPY 3 YEAR ANNIVERSITY” to my husband! Thank you for always supporting me and cleaning up after my mess! (and cleaning the bath tub, carrying the groceries, picking strawberries from the garden, washing dishes, fixing my laptop, making me laugh, etc). Love you!
Here’s a photo of us in Vegas during our anniversity week!

Btw, we call it our “anniversity” instead of our “anniversary”. It’s not a typo. =)
Ok, so my official first-day-of summer was last Thursday. My last day of work was Monday, but my Math Coach called us back for some training on new technology my school has purchased. So, on my official first-day-of-summer, Jimmy and I had a crazy plan.
Step 1: Wake up at 6am (despite the fact that we are off)
Step 2: Drive to Disney California an hour before it opens to obtain tickets to the World of Color
Step 3: Ride as many pregnancy-friendly rides
Step 4: Drop off my 5omm lens at Canon (it’s been having issues and I’m not liking it!)
Step 5: Drive to Jimmy’s aunt’s house to play in their new above-ground pool
Step 6: Drive back to D-land and get in line (again) to get a good spot to view the World of Color
Suprisingly, we accomplished everything we planned, and here’s the proof. (well, just for Steps 5 & 6)

Hope the rest of the summer is filled with lots of fun, relaxing times!
One of the many benefits of being a teacher is that you get lots of time off. Labor Day, Memorial Day, 3 weeks of winter break, President’s Day…but the one that we all look forward to is our summer vacation. This year, we are off until September 7th, and I am literally jumping with joy. I get to take a nice, long break from screaming at middle school children, and I get to take more than 30 minutes to eat my lunch! AHHHH! How awesome is that?
So, what did I do after my last day? Go to the beach, of course!

Woot woot!…I am SO ready to relax!!
Here are some of my favs from my recent maternity session! This hot mama is expecting a little girl in July (hence the pink accent scarf).
Isn’t she beautiful? She’s glowing!!

R & T - thanks for being such awesome models! Let me know when your little one is born!

I know we’re all guilty of it. We all take tons of photos, and at best, we upload it onto our computers and maybe post some on Facebook. But do we ever print them? Display them proudly over the mantle or frame them for the bedroom? I know I don’t. I also totally suck at interior designing and anything that has to do with coordinating colors, vases, frames, etc.
If you’re like me, I have something for you! Announcing our new Canvas Inspiration Guide! Woot Woot!! YAY! (I’m probably the ONLY one excited about this). Anywhoo, the Canvas Inspiration Guide is an awesome way to help YOU see and visualize how to display your prints. You can see in the samples below that prints look SO much better when grouped together and displayed…not in small 4x6s, but in large 24x30s.
Take a look!

I’m trying to figure out how to create and present sample Canvas Guides to my future clients. Stay tuned!
