Attic Collection

Hi there! About a month or two ago, I posted here saying that we are going to be offering different post-processing styles. This is one of them, and I am proud to announce the “attic” (psss…I might change the name later…it depends on the comments I receive). It looks like one of those photos that you find of your grandparents in the dusty boxes somewhere in your closet. It’s not quite b&w and not quite sepia. It has a bit of texture, which I totally love! I will start including photos with the “attic” touch in some of my future photos. Here are some examples from my previous sessions.

One from my recent shoot.

…and of course, I had to include my favorite photo from my wedding!

Armed Forces Day

My husband likes to say that Armed Forces Day is the second biggest day in Torrance. On this day, thousands of people from come to Torrance (whoo hoo~!) to march on Torrance Blvd. My church happens to be two blocks away, so every year we sell hotdogs and let the community know that we are here. This year, we decided to rent jumpers…

The West High Warriors!

THE Great Magician

Here’s my favorite kid again, performing a magic trick for Jimmy and me. He was so darn professional…he had his own “customized” outfit and a drumroll to announce his entrance.

Totally concentrated….

Just look at how serious he is!

On the GO!

I’ve been trying to photograph this little one for awhile now. I finally got time to squeeze Little J in last Sunday. It was more like chasing him around with my camera while he jumped, played with a balloon, and wrestled his dad. I am, though, pleased with the images I captured. What do you think?
Look at his mischief smile! You KNOW he’s up to something…

Flying with daddy…I remember when I used to do this with my dad

The Only Good Thing…

The only good thing about a chilly, cloudly day is the AWESOME light! Although we were shivering (can you tell?), I was loving the yummy light. Here are some of my favorites from today’s shoot at our very own Japanese Garden in Torrance…which I never knew existed until last week. Little E just had his first communion, and his sister asked me to take some photos for their mom. Hope you like it!

Just “monkeying” around

Grrr…showing off his muscles!

Miss E, an adorable 8th grader at J.H. Hull Middle School…my hubby’s alma mater!

Here’s a picture of J and B…aren’t they cute??

Totally LOVE this shot!

Several family photos for….shhhh…Mother’s Day!

…and we ended the shoot with a funny shot! Hope mom likes it!
