Cupcakes: Round 2

It wasn’t supposed to happen this way. The cupcakes were supposed to look a little cuter, a little pinker, and a little more perfect than what I’ve created. Oh, and they were supposed to be on a stick…like a lollipop. They’re not really cupcakes either. First, I made a huge cake and mixed it with some cream cheese frosting. Then, I re-created them into tiny, bite-sized cupcakes. Anywhoo, it’s tastier than it looks.

Back to School = Back to Work

Here I go to the world of homework, lost pencils, 30 minute lunches, broken copy machines, and my favorite, new 6th graders! SCHOOL IS OFFICIALLY IN SESSION! RIIIIING!

2 More Months…

Ahhhhhhh!!! My almost little sister is getting married on November 1st and I am totally excited! For the past several months, I have been prancing around my tiny apartment with a geeky grin on my face. Not only are they getting married at THE “Happiest Place on Earth”, it’s my first bridesmaid experience. I am so happy for these two! Here are my favs from their engagement shoot at Downtown Disney.

They’re getting blessed by Mickey!

They basically giggled all day…

Special thanks to my awesome assistant / boss, Carol for helping me with the shoot!

Pretty Princess

As a little girl, I was never into “pink” or “princess”. I was not the girl with pretty nails and tiny purses. In fact, my mom thought it would be great for me to be a ninja for Halloween…yup, a RED ninja. While all my girlfriends enjoyed dressing up as brides or Disney princesses, I was a ninja…all complete with a plastic sword…for 2 years IN A ROW.

Soooooo, it was fun to see Miss Princess B twirl around in her gorgeous pink dress. She had a wand to make wishes come true, a purse that carried her ring, and of course, a tiara. Here are my favorites.

Cupcakes

I have to admit, I love getting on the bandwagon. I remember in college when the Lakers were in the playoffs and I went to go to my friend’s to cheer them on. Let me tell you that I do not have an ounce in my body that cares for any type of sport. And for the last several weeks, I was hooked on the Olympics. I just like being in the “know”. Well, I discovered another “thing” to care about. Cupcakes. Yup. That’s the next trend. CUPCAKES. I have now decided that I am going to be a cupcake master. Dum dum dummmm….

What do you think? I think I did a pretty good job considering it’s my first time. Btw, I’m going for the look, not for the taste!
