Meet Melissa and Stephen. As you can tell from the photos, they are a wonderful, fun couple! They are fun, relaxed, and willing to do anything…which I totally love. My husband and I had the opportunity to photograph them at the beautiful Los Verdes Golf Course in Palos Verdes, where they will have their wedding reception in March. I got excited when I saw Melissa’s red lipstick and the flower in her hair. That totally made my day.

I have alove-hate relationship with the sun. I love it gives me beautiful light, especially right before sundown. I hate it when it is too harsh, or when it sets too quickly!
Today’s shoot was just that. We had a very short time to shoot, since the sun was going down so fast! This was probably one of the fastest shoots ever!
Even with that said, I was honored to be able to photograph this lovely couple. I met them last year at my co-worker’s wedding, and now its their turn! Here are my favs…

You must know I LOVE LOVE LOVE taking photos. What’s not to love? I get to carry around an expensive piece of equipment without my husband constantly watching over me. AND, it’s the ONE thing that I know better than him. But that’s not it. I love looking through the view finder and composing my shots. I get to determine what goes in my photos and what doesn’t. If only I could do this everyday…
With that said, I find it my greatest compliment when my clients call me back for a shoot. It means that they like my work, and that’s one of the best feelings in the world.
Remember this girl? I met her 3 years ago, when she was a 4th grader. Now, she’s in middle school and is totally rocking it with her cool outfit. Mom called me in for a shoot, and its so neat to watch her grow up. Here are my favs.

The most comfortable place in the world.
Check out this lovely family shoot last Sunday. It took place at the beautiful campus of USC. The fall foilage was absolutely breathtaking and Little K was ADORABLE!!!!
