Quick post before I run out for an engagement session!
Yesterday, Jimmy, Tatsu and I went to Little Miss J’s 2nd birthday party. Tatsu had a great time looking at all the colorful decorations and he even got to sit with the big kids and play with the instruments. Here are some images!

Checking the scene out with daddy

He warmed up very quickly…espcially after he saw all the bubbles!

Loving the sing-along lady and all her cool instruments!

Before we left, we snagged some photos with one of the props from the obstacle course.

Happy Birthday J! Thanks for a fun time!

I just LOVE LOVE LOVE watching little ones grow! Here’s Teeny Tiny E, right after she was born…

…and here she is, just one year later…

Love the next image. E is very serious about pointing out the bubbles!

Thanks for checking in!

Last night, I called my grandpa for the first time after the horrible earthquake in Japan. Although he is doing well, his voice sounded so weak and so far. He explained to me that the stores were all out of water and food. The night before, the lights went out while they were eating dinner and because of the lack of electricity, they weren’t able to use their electric blanket. It’s cold there…a lot colder than I can ever imagine. I felt so helpless and all I could say was “ganbatte” (hang in there).
There’s not much I can do, and I realize that. Earlier today, I stumbled upon Utterly Engaged and discovered that they have teamed up with Ever Ours to start For Japan With Love. All the donations will be going to Shelter Box, which provides emergency shelter and lifesaving supplies to those who need it most. According to them, ShelterBox was one of THE first organizations asked by Japan to help and were on hand on the Saturday after the quake. Each large, green ShelterBox is tailored to a disaster but typically contains a disaster relief tent for an extended family, blankets, water storage and purification equipment, cooking utensils, a stove, a basic tool kit, a children’s activity pack and other vital items.
I will be participating in Bloggers Day of Silence tomorrow, Friday, March 18, in order to raise awareness and pay respect to what the people of Japan are suffering through. If you are interested in donating, please click on the link.
Thank you!
AHHHHH! My little stinky fuss is 6 months old! Here’s a little recap…
In the past 6 months, you have…
learned to grab your toes…

and learned to smile at mommy’s camera

You’ve learned to hang out on daddy’s shoulders and even realized that turning upside down is pretty fun

You are a good eater

and even a better sleeper

You like hanging out on our bed and watch me and Jimmy get ready in the morning.

You can hold your own bottle

…and you enjoy spending time with your church family (just noticed they are all girls!)

I love you Little Blee! Happy 6 months!
